External Meetings: CFTC staff consultation with the Kansas City Board of Trade (KCBT)/Kansas City Board of Trade Clearing Corporation (KCBTCC)

The consultation was conducted via teleconference.~The participants discussed (i) financial resource requirements and related reporting requirements, (ii) margin requirements, including a required confidence level, the collection of margin on a gross rather than net basis, and periodic reporting of information relating to margin, (iii) the designation and role of a chief compliance officer of a DCO and (iv) the expected timeline for proposed rulemakings to implement core principles.
