Remarks: The Philadelphia Board of Trade (PBOT), was first approved by the CFTC as a contract market on 5/18/85. Effective 11/7/13, the name of the exchange was changed to NASDAQ Futures, Inc. (NQF). NQF remained a DCM until 1/1/14, on which date it became a "dormant designated contract market" as defined in CFTC regulation 40.1. On 2/6/14, NQF submitted an application to be reinstated as a DCM, pursuant to sections 5 and 6(a) of the CEA and part 38 of the CFTCs regulations. On 7/2/14, NQFs DCM application was stayed pursuant to section 6(a) of the CEA and CFTC regulation 38.3(c). The stay was lifted on 9/29/14. Effective November 21, 2014, NQFs application for reinstatement was approved and its contract market designation was reinstated pursuant to Sections 5 and 6(a) of the Commodity Exchange Act and Part 38 of the CFTCs regulations. Nasdaq Futures Inc. was vacated effective September 16, 2020.
