Agricultural Advisory Committee

The Agricultural Advisory Committee (AAC) was created in 1985 to advise the Commission on issues involving the trading of agricultural commodity futures and options and facilitate communications between the CFTC, the agricultural community, and agriculture-related organizations.

Chairman Rostin Behnam sponsors the AAC. Brigitte Weyls serves as the Designated Federal Officer for the committee.

Meeting to discuss topics related to the agricultural economy, including geopolitical and sustainability issues, as well as recent developments in the agricultural derivatives markets. The AAC will also address procedural matters, including topics of discussion on a forward-looking basis, here.
