CFTC Announces Public Meeting of the Technology Advisory Committee

Full Committee (Along with Subcommittee on Data Standardization) to Focus on Issues Related to Swap Data Reporting, and Will Receive Updates on Industry-Led Customer Protection Technology Effort and New Requirements Imposed by Part 1 of the Commission’s Regulations

Washington, DC – The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announces that on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, the CFTC’s Technology Advisory Committee (the “TAC” or “Committee”) will hold a public meeting at the Commission’s headquarters in Washington, DC from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The meeting will focus primarily on issues related to swap data reporting. It will also include updates on the implementation of an industry-led technology solution to protect customer funds, and compliance with certain requirements imposed under Part 1 of the Commission’s Regulations.

The TAC meeting is open to the public with seating on a first-come, first-served basis. Audio of the meeting will be available via listen-only conference call. Additionally, a transcript of the meeting will be published through a link on the CFTC’s website.

All written submissions provided to the CFTC in any form will also be published on the website of the CFTC.
