Historical Cotton On-Call
Special Announcement
November 17, 2025: The processing and publication of Cotton On-Call was interrupted from October 1 – November 12 due to a lapse in federal appropriations. Following a return to normal operations, the CFTC will resume publication of the Cotton On-Call reports in chronological order. Beginning with Report #39, CFTC will publish reports daily until the normal publishing schedule is resumed at Report #47.
Cotton-On-Call (COC) Report Description
The Cotton On-Call Report shows the quantity of call cotton bought or sold on which the price has not been fixed, together with the respective futures on which the purchase or sale is based. Call cotton refers to physical cotton bought or sold, or contracted for purchase or sale at a price to be fixed later based upon a specified delivery month future’s price.
