This notice is being provided pursuant to the Privacy Act, 5 U.S.C. § 552a(e)(3), to inform you about why the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is collecting this information from you. Authority: The CFTC’s authority to collect this information derives from the Commodity Exchange Act, 7 U.S.C. § 5(b). Purpose: The information you provide when requesting a joint meeting with the CFTC and SEC will be used by staff to evaluate your request and prepare for any scheduled meeting. The information will also be posted to their respective websites to increase transparency and promote open dialogue among all interested parties.
