CFTC ANNOUNCES ROUNDTABLE ON PROPOSED RULES ON ACCESS TO AUTOMATED BOARDS OF TRADE

Washington, D.C. � The Commodity Futures Trading Commission today announced that it will hold a Roundtable on proposed rules on access to automated boards of trade on Tuesday, April 20, 1999, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. The Roundtable will be held in the first floor Hearing Room at the Commission�s Washington office, Three Lafayette "center", 1155 21st Street, Washington, D.C.

The Roundtable discussion will bring together a diverse group of industry participants, including representatives of U.S. and foreign exchanges, U.S. and foreign brokers, foreign regulators and technology experts. Chairperson Born and the Commissioners will also participate in the discussion. A list of Roundtable participants is attached.
