Rule Enforcement Review of the National Futures Association's Compliance Program for CPOs and CTAs
Washington -- As part of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's (Commission) oversight program to assess the effectiveness of self-regulatory organizations rule enforcement programs, the Division has prepared a report summarizing its review of the National Futures Association's (NFA) compliance program pertaining to its members who are registered as commodity pool operators (CPOs) and commodity trading advisors (CTAs). The Division has notified the NFA of the results of this report. The report sets forth nine recommendations for enhancement of the NFA's program.
