CFTC Notifies the Chicago Board of Trade of the Results of It's Review of the Exchange's Financial and Sales Practice Surveillance Programs

Washington -- The Commodity Futures Trading Commission's Division of Trading and Markets (Division) has notified the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) of the results of its recent review of the exchange's financial and sales practices surveillance program. The report states that the Division found the design and execution of the CBOT program to be in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. The report describes a number of significant program events or enhancements which occurred during the review period and contains two recommendations for enhancement of the program.
