CFTC Reschedules Open Meeting for Monday, November 6th

WASHINGTON -- The Commodity Futures Trading Commission's (CFTC) open meeting scheduled for Wednesday, November 1, has been rescheduled for Monday, November 6, 2000, 1:00 p.m. in the Lobby-Level Hearing Room 1000, Three Lafayette Centre, 1155 21st Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. The agenda remains unchanged; specifically, the Commission will consider:

  • Final rules for a regulatory framework for Multilateral Transaction Execution

������� Facilities, Intermediaries and Clearing Organizations;

  • Final rules relating to Intermediaries of Commodity Interest Transactions;
  • Final rules for a New Regulatory Framework for Clearing Organizations; and,
  • Final rules on the Exemption for Bilateral Transactions.

The meeting will be open to the public.
