CFTC DISCONTINUES OFF-EXCHANGE TASK FORCE

Washington...The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (Commission) has discontinued its staff Off-Exchange Task Force. Any correspondence concerning matters which have been pending before the Off-Exchange Task Force should henceforth be addressed to Daniel R. Waldman, General Counsel, CFTC, Three Lafayette Centre, 1155 21st Street, N.W., Washington, D.C., 20581. The Commission also is undertaking a study of the role of staff no-action letters and the principles by which the staff should be guided in issuing them.
