New York Currency Research Group ("New York Currency") petitions us to stay the sanctions imposed in our opinion and order of February 6, 1998 in this administrative enforcement action. Respondent's request for stay is accompanied by a request that the Commission reconsider its February 6, 1998 order. Our decision imposed a cease and desist order and a $110,000 civil monetary penalty. These sanctions shall be stayed pending further order of the Commission to allow it adequate opportunity to consider New York Currency's motion for reconsideration.
