To install each application, follow the instructions in the Readme.txt files located in each of the installation folders (mentioned in steps 3 and 6 above).
New Commodity File
A new commodity file, current as of March 31, 1999, is available for down-loading and installing in your PERT folder. Instructions are shown below. The new file contains commodity codes for the New York Board of Trade (NYBT). All codes listed for NYCE and for NYFE in the previous commodity file are shown for NYCE or NYFE and for NYBT in the new file. Since CSCE and NYBT have the same industry id ("06"), commodity codes formerly associated with CSCE are now associated only with NYBT. Commodities that began trading on CSCE, NYCE or NYFE since creation of the previous file are shown only for NYBT.
(1) Locate the file "comodity.txt" in the "C:\Program Files\PERT" folder. If you chose to install the application in a different location, use Explorer to locate the file.

(3) Delete the comodity.txt file
(4) Right mouse click on the hyperlink below to down load the new file from the internet. Select "Save Target As".
(5) Save the new file in the pert folder
