    CFTC to Hold Open Meeting to Consider Proposed Rules on Enhancing Customer Protections and Final Rules on Adaptation of Existing Regulations to Incorporate Swaps

    Washington, DC – The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at 9:30 a.m., to consider:

      • Proposed Rules on Enhancing Protections Afforded Customers and Customer Funds Held by Futures Commission Merchants and Derivatives Clearing Organizations.

      • Final Rules on Adaptation of Existing Regulations to Incorporate Swaps.
