    CFTC’s Division of Market Oversight Issues Advisory Regarding Ongoing Duty to Update Account Identification Form

    Washington, DC – The Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s Division of Market Oversight issued an Advisory reminding futures commission merchants, clearing members and foreign brokers (reporting firms) to submit an updated Form 102 when changes occur in an existing account. The Advisory reiterates the existing legal obligation that reporting firms submit an updated Form 102 to the Commission within three business days after information contained in a previously submitted Form 102 is no longer accurate.
