CFTC Adopts Requirement for Electronic Filing of CPO and CTA Disclosure Documents

Washington, DC – The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has adopted, and has approved for publication in the Federal Register, amendments to Regulations 4.26 and 4.36, concerning the electronic filing of Disclosure Documents by commodity pool operators and commodity trading advisors, respectively (Amendments).

The Amendments are being made in response to a petition from the National Futures Association (NFA), and they are intended to be in furtherance of NFA’s compliance and enforcement programs.
