  • Topics discussed: (i) Questions were asked as to whether CFTC has the ability to use fees to fund activities.  (ii) Chairman Gensler was requested to describe the position limits proposed rule approved by the Commission earlier in the day.  (iii) Regarding position limits, the question was asked as to whether the formula for determining limits could be changed in the final rule?  (iv) View was expressed by meeting participant that limits in proposed rule are too high and will not change the amount of speculation in the market.  (v) The definition of 'commercial risk' in the context of the end-user definition.
